Giving
 Chandler Regional Hospital has established a foundation to provide financial support for capital projects, equipment, programs and services to the poor and underserved. The generosity of the communities we serve helps insure excellence in patient care, medical education, and research. The staff at the Chandler Regional Hospital Foundation is available to assist you with information on several ways to contribute. Chandler Regional Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation as provided under Section 501 c (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to CRH Foundation are tax deductible in accordance with state and federal law. We provide many opportunities for the community to invest in our healthcare facilities and services. Here are a few methods of making a contribution that may have specific economic or tax benefits to you:
Giving Opportunities
Outright Gifts
Gifts of cash, securities or other property have an immediate
impact on Chandler Regional Hospital's variety of health service
lines and programs because they can be used to support a variety of
current needs.
Living Legacies
The Living Legacies are provided by families who have made will bequests or testamentary designations to the Chandler Regional Hospital Foundation. Merrill Hite and Rafaelle Aurea Paul and Anne DeRose Paul and Sally Brown
Gift Pledges
A pledge is a formal statement of intention to make a gift to the
Chandler Regional Hospital Foundation. It may be followed by an
immediate gift, or it may simply confirm your intention to make a
gift in the future. Many donors choose to complete their gift
pledge by making regular payments over a period of time. This
method often allows donors to give more generously than they may
have originally considered.
Unrestricted Gifts
When you do not restrict the use of your gift, the Foundation
gains crucial flexibility in assisting the Hospital. Unrestricted
gifts are used to meet changing or urgent needs such as
state-of-the-art medical equipment acquisitions, expansion of
emergency and cardiovascular care, or our ability to increase our
care through community outreach.
Gifts of Endowment
A gift for endowment demonstrates your farsighted commitment to
Chandler Regional Hospital. An endowment is a fund that is
maintained in perpetuity, with a portion of the annual investment
return used for the purposes specified by the donor. The rest of
the investment yield is returned to principle. Thus, over the
years, the fund can grow and hopefully keep pace with inflation.
Such endowments, which typically bear the name of the donor or
donors, reflect your interests and serve as an enduring testament
to your generosity.
Appreciated Securities
A gift of long-term appreciated marketable securities helps you
save taxes twice. Such a gift will provide an income-tax charitable
deduction and capital gains tax savings.
Matching Gifts
Many corporations have demonstrated their support for Chandler
Regional Hospital by matching, or multiplying, their employees'
gifts to the Hospital. Before you make a gift, consult your
company's personnel office for further information about matching
programs.
Gifts of Real Estate
When you give a gift of your home or real property to Chandler
Regional Hospital Foundation, you may claim an income-tax
charitable deduction based on the full market value of the gift,
avoid capital gains taxes, and eliminate certain costs associated
with the transfer of real property. Gifts of real estate can also
provide income to you as a gift with retained interest.
Gifts-in-Kind
You may wish to give Chandler Regional Hospital a personal
possession of special interest. These can include works of art,
equipment and other items. To determine the Hospital's
interest in the object you would like to donate, please contact the
Chandler Regional Hospital Foundation office.
Give in Honor of or in Memory of a Loved One
Tribute Gifts
Honor the memory of a loved one by giving a gift to the Tribute
Fund, or say thank you to a caregiver, celebrate a birth,
graduation or anniversary by making a tribute gift. Your gift
will have a lasting impact on the lives - young and old - entrusted
to our care. Your generosity will help us provide a wide
range of services that promote wellness and prevent illness,
alleviate suffering and offer care for the dying. We will
notify the honoree or the honoree's family promptly.
